Summer Meals

During the school year, many children participate in school meals.  Fortunately, your child has the opportunity to receive meals at school this summer.

Hunger is one of the most severe roadblocks to the learning process. Lack of nutrition during the summer months may create a cycle for poor performance once school begins again. Hunger may also make children more prone to illness and other health issues.

Free breakfast and lunch will be offered to all students participating in Aldine ISD summer programs and to children 18 years of age or younger in the Aldine community.

School locations are available through the Aldine Child Nutrition Services Department website at or the school district's website at You may also choose to visit or call 2-1-1 for a site near you.
